Account-based outbound agency (2026)
Updated October 11, 2026. Vendor sites read October 11, 2026.
Of ten GTM engineering agencies whose sites we read on October 11, 2026, five use the term ABM (SalesCaptain, ColdIQ, RevPartners, The GTM Engineering Company and demandDrive) and four describe scoring or tiering accounts (ColdIQ, The GTM Engineering Company, demandDrive and The Kiln). Sales.co builds one account list from buying signals, emails the whole market, and adds cold calls, ads and LinkedIn for the highest-intent accounts, at $5,500 a month.
Sales.co publishes this page, so read it with that in mind. The ten are the agencies named most often in the list pages that rank on Google for GTM engineering agency queries (how they were chosen). They sell GTM engineering, and this is not a survey of every ABM agency. The table records how each site describes choosing accounts, whether it uses the term ABM or account-based, whether it describes scoring or tiering, and any list size it gives.
| Agency | How its site describes account selection | Uses the term ABM | Scores or tiers accounts | List size it states |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sales.co | One account list built from buying signals. Email goes to the whole market every 30 to 90 days. The accounts most likely to buy now get 5+ email touches, and the highest-intent accounts also get cold calls, ads and LinkedIn. | No | The page says "highest-intent accounts" and does not describe a scoring method | Not stated |
| ColdIQ | frontal.so describes "a few hundred right accounts chosen on buying signals", a "tiered, signal-driven list", and ads shown to the "same scored accounts your team is working". One of its service lines is called "ABM and ads". | Yes | Yes | A few hundred accounts |
| The GTM Engineering Company | Its sales services page starts an engagement with ICP research and "target account selection criteria", then tier-based account scoring written to the CRM. One case on its home page is a "2,062-company ABM audience" built for LinkedIn. | Yes | Yes | 2,062 companies in one case |
| demandDrive | Lists "ABM Programs" as a service: "Targeted, multi-channel programs for engaging high-value accounts with personalized content". Its Clay service builds target account lists and lead and account scoring. | Yes | Yes | Not stated |
| SalesCaptain | Builds prospect lists from intent, funding and revenue data. The term ABM appears once, for international brands expanding into the US and Europe "using ABM and Sales frameworks". | Yes | No | Not stated |
| RevPartners | Its Clay agency page lists a "TAM List Building" play and describes "a list you can actually activate across outbound, ads, or ABM". It builds the list in Clay and HubSpot. | Yes | No | Not stated |
| The Kiln | Its home page lists "TAM mapping & deep enrichment", "Account scoring and assignment" and "Paid ads audience building" as projects it takes. | No | Yes | Not stated |
| Understory | Its pages describe signals that route leads into sequences. The terms ABM, account-based and account list are not on the pages we read. | No | No | Not stated |
| Growth Engine X | Sells volume into large markets: up to 5,000 emails a day, for markets of 100,000+ contacts. It says it is not for target markets under 40,000 contacts. No account tiers or ABM on its home page. | No | No | 100,000+ contacts |
| DevCommX | Pricing depends on the number of ICP segments. The terms ABM and account list are not on the pages we read. | No | No | Not stated |
| Earleads | No account lists or ABM on its site. | No | No | Not stated |
ColdIQ rows include frontal.so, the site its agency now uses. "No" means the term or practice is not on the pages we read.
Three list sizes
Three of the ten give a number, and the numbers are far apart. ColdIQ's agency site talks about "a few hundred right accounts chosen on buying signals". The GTM Engineering Company shows one case with a 2,062-company audience built for LinkedIn. Growth Engine X asks for a market of 100,000 contacts or more and says it is not for markets under 40,000.
How Sales.co splits the list
Sales.co emails the whole list and narrows the other three channels. Its email program has two tracks: TAM Takeover sends to the full market every 30 to 90 days, and Intent Takeover puts 5+ touches on the accounts most likely to buy now. Cold calls, ads and LinkedIn outreach go only to the highest-intent accounts, on the same list as the email. The signals that feed the list are website visitors, new hires, funding rounds, hiring posts, post engagers, competitor followers, product launches and tech stack (signal table).
The page does not say how many accounts count as highest-intent or how the cut is made. Ask for that number for your market before you sign.
Where another agency is the better pick
- A short list of named accounts and no need for whole-market email: ColdIQ's agency (frontal.so) describes a few hundred accounts, a tiered list and ads to the same scored accounts. It does not make calls.
- Account scoring built into your own CRM: The GTM Engineering Company writes tier-based scores to HubSpot or Salesforce and hands the model over. The Kiln lists account scoring and assignment as a project.
- An ABM program with content and SDRs: demandDrive lists ABM Programs for high-value accounts and supplies SDR teams.
- A TAM list in HubSpot: RevPartners has a TAM List Building play in Clay.
- Volume into a very large market: Growth Engine X.
Understory, Growth Engine X, DevCommX and Earleads use neither the term ABM nor account scoring on the pages we read. Sales.co's GTM engineering package is $5,500 a month, flat, with no setup fees, and it is month-to-month. FAQ
What is an account-based outbound agency?
An agency that starts from a list of named target accounts, ranks them, and concentrates outreach on the ones most likely to buy, usually on more than one channel. Sales.co's version: one account list, email to all of it, and calls, ads and LinkedIn for the highest-intent accounts.
Which GTM engineering agencies do ABM?
Five of the ten sites we read on October 11, 2026 use the term: SalesCaptain, ColdIQ, RevPartners, The GTM Engineering Company and demandDrive. demandDrive lists ABM Programs as a service, and ColdIQ's agency site has a service line called "ABM and ads". Sales.co's page does not use the term. Sales.co publishes this page, so read it with that in mind.
Is account-based outbound the same as sending fewer emails?
Not at every agency. ColdIQ's agency site describes "a few hundred right accounts chosen on buying signals". Sales.co emails the whole market and narrows only the calls, ads and LinkedIn. Growth Engine X goes the other way and sells email volume into markets of 100,000 contacts or more.
