Credits are not one unit across these tools. Some cover an email only, some unlock a contact with a phone number too, so a lower price per credit may buy less data. Cost per email is the yearly price divided by the yearly credits, rounded.
What 1,000 and 10,000 emails cost this month
Most small teams buy a batch, so here is the smallest published payment that covers each size in one month. Sales.co lines assume the list you want holds that many contacts.
| Tool and plan | 1,000 emails | 10,000 emails |
|---|---|---|
| Snov.io Starter | $39 | Above this plan |
| Hunter Starter, then Growth | $49 | $149 (10,000 credits) |
| Apollo Basic | $65 | $588 for a yearly seat (30,000 credits) |
| Sales.co list | $295 | $295 |
For a whole trade, a one-time list gets cheaper as the batch grows. At 10,000 emails a $295 list is below Apollo's $588 year and above Hunter's $149 month. Hunter finds emails from the names or domains you give it, while a list arrives filled in. Our list providers comparison prices nine sellers at 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 contacts. For agencies rather than data, see Belkins alternatives and SalesHive alternatives.

Where Apollo still wins
- Price per credit with sequences. About 2 cents a credit on the yearly Basic plan, and Basic includes unlimited sequences.
- One tool for the whole job. Search filters, sequences, CRM integrations and a US dialer sit in one plan.
- A real free plan. 900 credits a seat a year.
- Month-to-month billing. Basic and Professional can be paid monthly.
If those are what you use, staying on Apollo is the cheaper call. A move pays off when you only need the data, need it once, or need something Apollo's plan leaves out.
