This page is for founders and sales reps who write their own cold email and want a starting point with numbers behind it. Every one here shows its result, and below we say how much weight a single template's number can carry.

What the library is

Each template is an email Sales.co sent in a live campaign, with its subject line, body, call to action and the reply and positive reply rate it got. A positive reply means interest, a question, a "later" or a referral. The library tags every template by tone (informal, formal, energetic, humble), structure (social proof, question-based, problem-solution, value prop first), call to action, the seniority it went to and the company type. Each template page has a copy button for the subject and the body.

How to pick and use a template in four steps

  1. Open the template library and filter by the seniority and company type you sell to.
  2. Sort by best positive reply rate, then open a template and look at how many times it was sent. A rate on 57 sends is a lead to test, not a result.
  3. Copy it and fill in the first-name and company-name fields, and rewrite the offer line for what you sell.
  4. Run the draft through the spam checker and the subject through the subject line grader. You are done when it reads as written for one buyer and the checker flags nothing you meant to keep.

What 22,274 sends say about structure and tone

We added up every template's sends and positive replies by structure and by tone (templates_data.json, the data behind the library). The structures land within 0.14 points of each other, so the structure you pick matters less than the offer and who gets it.

Formal362,4902.21%
Energetic353,2642.08%
Informal7915,4321.99%

Across the library 4.9% of sends got a reply (1,091 of 22,274). The median template was sent 64 times, and the library marks every template's confidence as low, so a single template's rate moves a lot with one more reply.

FAQ

Are the cold email templates free?

Yes. All 164 are free to read and copy, with no signup.

Where do the reply rates come from?

From 22,274 tracked sends and 1,091 replies in Sales.co campaigns. Each template shows its own sends, reply rate and positive reply rate.

Which cold email structure gets the most positive replies?

In our library, social proof emails got 2.11% positive replies, problem-solution 2.02% and question-based 1.97%. The gap is small, so pick the structure that fits your offer.

Can I trust a template with a 5% positive reply rate?

Treat it as a lead. The median template was sent 64 times, and the top one 57 times, so one reply more or less moves the rate by a couple of points. Test two or three on your own list.
