California is the largest at 4,215 accounting businesses, followed by Texas at 2,784, Florida at 2,311, New York at 1,114 and Arizona at 953. Ohio holds 707, Colorado 679 and Michigan 477. Filter the CSV by the state column after delivery, or ask for a state-only cut before it.
Records are separated by the listing category each business publishes, not by professional licence. Of the 22,932 records, 7,087 are listed as accountants, 4,420 as tax preparation services, 4,075 as chartered accountants, 1,862 as accounting firms and 1,397 as bookkeepers or bookkeeping services. That is the level a buyer can segment at. There is no licence-status field, so this file cannot produce a list of verified-licensed CPAs.
